Target audience

The app was designed for patients who are normally busy in their daily lives and don't have much time to book appointments and wanted to consult a doctor online quickly , safely and conveniently.

User pain points

Through user research and interviews i found most users have common problems and
pain points. Organizing data helped me to narrow down to few of the common pain points .

1

Tracking Health Records

It often used to happen that we fail to manage all the previous health issues and medication taken for it. So we need a proper system to maintain the records

2

Safety

Waiting In the hospital for long period of time is unsafe and stressful, since the pandemic started. So would like a safe and secure way to consult doctor.

3

Trust Issues

Most of us feel anxious about the doctor we meet, thinking if he is qualified enough to treat us, which instills an uncertaininty and lack of trust towards the doctor. Users would like to know more about the doctor and his reviews before choosing the doctor.

4

Introverts

Some people are not expressive and felt better to communicate over call when they feel there is no one else watching or judging them.

PERSONAS

Personas are created to know who the end user is , what their goals and pain points are.The result should be believable people with their own experiences and values.

    User Flow

After collecting the data and information through user research, we draw the user flow diagram after several iteration that shows the entire path the user takes while using the product.

Paper Wire-framing

I started with making the designs on paper's initially to show the app layout, in- app flow and app features.

Digital wireframes

These low-tech designs allow UX teams to visualize each screen's layout, test navigation, and experience user flows.

Visual Style Guide

Visual Design is a integral part of the design process as it helps to standardize system of text input, fonts , colours and other components that will be combined and displayed on user scree

Typography

Poppins is one of the popular design tool for creating geometric sans serif mobile apps. The precise geometric design of its symbols makes it suitable for both heading and body copy.

Color Palette

I chose blue for my application since blue colour gives a sense of security and builds trust, blue is also associated with depth and stability. Blue is the primary colour, light blue is the secondary colour and black and grey is used as the text colour.

Takeaways

What I have learned

I learnt more about UX research methods where the main emphasis needs to be to engage user so that the user doesn't get diverted from the application and helping users navigate easily from the start to the end of the process.
